
9th Annual Merit Badge Day at SUNY-ESF
The Details
This year's Merit Badge Day will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2008.
We will be offering the opportunity to work on up to three merit badges, each in a 75 minute-long session.
Parking, lunch, and courses will be provided. It is recommended that scouts come prepared with a copy of the book or at least a print-out of the requirements for the badges they intend to take. An excellent resource for that is meritbadge.com.
All attending scouts are required to bring signed Blue Cards in order to work on merit badges. All units are required to provide at least one adult leader per unit; if this is a problem for your unit, please let us know at mbd@apophi.org.

The Schedule
Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Session 1: 9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Session 2: 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Lunch: 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Session 3: 1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

This year's Merit Badge Day is open to up to 200 scouts. Last year's Merit Badge Day hosted 150+ scouts, and we're looking to expand on that success with this year's program. Registration for this year's event is closed. All participants should have received their confirmation by this time.
